Cow dairy
Mas Borni in Llagostera is a family-run farm with several generations of tradition in dairy farming on the same estate.
With a herd of 120 animals, they currently milk around 60 cows. They carefully select bulls and cows to breed calves that provide high-quality milk, offering milk with A2-A2 beta-casein, which improves digestibility.
Since 2015, they have had their own workshop where they make raw-milk cheeses of different flavours and textures using traditional methods. One of these, Sant Galderic cendrat, has been awarded the Girona Excel·lent distinction. Since 2020, they also produce dairy desserts such as curds, yogurts and mousses.
