Goat from Les Gavarres: preserving the landscape and biodiversity
Dolors keeps a herd of more than 450 dairy goats, which she and a helping shepherd move through the Mediterranean forests of Cassà de la Selva.
One of their grazing areas is the Can Vilallonga estate, managed by the consortium. By grazing there, Dolors’ goats help preserve the natural and scenic values of this area at the foot of Les Gavarres, while keeping fields and forests clear.
