Honey from landscapes and Natural Parks in the Girona region
Laura and Sergi are a beekeeping couple from Crespià.
They place their apiaries in different landscapes and Natural Parks across the province of Girona. They practise transhumance, moving with different blooms from the coast to the mountains. They offer different varieties of honey, all from their own production.
In Les Gavarres they also keep a transhumant apiary, from which they harvest Heather honey. This is a special honey that crystallises very quickly. It has a grainy texture and a caramelised flavour with bitter notes.
