Honey
Ade and Toni are at the helm of L’Abella Brava.
Lovers of nature, they decided to start their beekeeping project in 2022, first as a hobby and later professionally, fascinated by bees and their complexity.
Their purpose is to care for the hives, discovering and understanding the world of bees and how it interacts with the rest of nature. Beekeeping, a livestock activity of great uniqueness, allows them to accompany and support bees in their journey through the world. This accompaniment was what drove them to start the project and what fulfils them most.
As beekeepers, they harvest part of the honey collected by their bees in the surroundings of Santa Pellaia, in Les Gavarres, although they also practice transhumance in Cap de Creus, the Guilleries, and the Pyrenees. They carry out a sustainable activity that contributes to conservation, maintaining the symbiosis between these insects and human beings.
